Charles Morris

Charles Morris is the founder of SKM Business Solutions, bringing more than 20 years of experience in rights management practices and systems to the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device industries.

Prior to launching SKM, Charles led Rights Management for Pearson’s Higher Education and K-12 school divisions.  As a member of the Permissions Task Force and Rights Management Review Committees, he successfully led change processes, establishing a board rights policy and standardizing the rights management process that would eventually be used throughout Pearson Education globally.

Charles serves as an expert speaker on copyright licensing matters at industry conferences and events.  He earned his Master’s degree in Intellectual Properties from Montclair State University and holds an Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Virginia State University and is also a member of the DIA.

 

Cynthia Morris

Cynthia Morris leads Regulatory Affairs and Operations for SKM Business Solutions, bringing over 25 years of experience in Health Care and Pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining SKM Business Solutions, Cynthia oversaw global regulatory operations for Durata Therapeutics, where she managed the successful compilation and submission for Dalvance, the first drug designated as a Qualified Infectious Disease Product to receive FDA approval.

Prior to joining Durata, Cynthia spent 18 years at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Clinical and Regulatory Operations, where she assisted in the compilation for over 126 FDA filings.  Her work led to a 5 day reduction in submission timelines and filings, earning her the WRQA (Worldwide Regulatory Quality Award) Submission Ready Award.

Cynthia spent her early career in hospital administration, overseeing inpatient and outpatient admissions, discharge and reimbursement of care.  As a member of AHIMA, she received an award from the Connecticut State Commissioner for revamping the birth certificate process from 30 days of filing to 24 hours after birth.

Cynthia’s areas of expertise include migrating products into guidance compliant processes, systems, and procedures customizable to the client’s budgetary and operational needs.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is a member of the DIA.
